This tool turns a plain list of tasks into a proper project timeline. Type in what needs doing, how long each task takes and what it depends on, and the planner works out real start and end dates for every task, flags anything that's scheduled to clash, and highlights the chain of tasks — the critical path — that actually controls your finish date. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Yes, for up to 10 tasks. Every part of building your timeline — dependencies, lag days, milestones, statuses, and the full chart and schedule — is free with no watermark. The one-off payment removes the 10-task limit and unlocks the polished CSV export, the print-ready report and a downloadable offline copy of the tool.
The tool runs a forward and backward pass through your task dependencies to work out how much slack, or spare time, each task has. Any task with zero slack — meaning a delay to it delays the whole project — is highlighted as part of the critical path.
The planner checks for loops every time you change a dependency. If two or more tasks end up depending on each other in a circle, you'll see a clear warning listing exactly which tasks are involved, so you can fix it before relying on the dates.
Yes — turn on Skip weekends and every task is scheduled using working days only, so Saturdays and Sundays are automatically skipped when calculating start and end dates.
No. Use Save Project any time to download your whole plan as a JSON file, then Load Project to bring it back on this computer or any other. Your work is also kept automatically in this browser between visits.
